Fellowship Program

ECHORN hosts a fellowship program for young leaders who are interested in Caribbean population health and health equity. During this 18-month program, fellows receive specialized training through Yale University on facilitation, group dynamics, and leadership. They work closely with ECHORN members to support data collection, share findings, and strengthen resources within our network and the broader island communities. Our fellows have led initiatives examining data sharing among Caribbean institutions and designed webinar series examining the intersections of climate and health. They analyzed research findings, led sessions at network meetings, and helped develop data resources. Through these efforts, they grew as leaders and researchers dedicated to health equity.

We are currently accepting applications for our next fellowship cohort (June 2021-December 2022).
It’s one of those things where if you want it, they’re not going to hinder you. They’re going to say ‘Good idea! Let’s do that. Here you go, that’s your opportunity.’
